So I just built a SFF system based on Ryzen 5 8600G, a Gigabyte B650I AX mobo, Crucial 5600Mhz DDR5 RAM 2x16GB and a Crucial 1TB Pcie 4 NVme SSD.
Initially had a Noctua L9 low profile cooler. Case is a Goodisory A09 ( cope of another brand with A09 model) - circa 3.8L

Was getting quite high temps so switched to a Thermalrite AXP90 X53 full copper cooler. Still 65degC whilst surfing on Chrome. Switched to firefox and temps are below 30 circa 28degC

Didn't realise how much CPU Google is using to track me :-)

Browsers can love to go rogue from time to time. Been a while since I knew of a case that bad.

I'm currently playing with Orion (built by the same folks who do the Kagi search engine) on iOS and my MacMini

My Chrome browser crashes sometimes. But I've never had it this bad.

Last time I know, Chrome indeed gobbles up memory. CPU usage increment is rare, but I guess it's not impossible.

The best way to test / compare is to open the same number of tabs.

Seems Goodisory is pretty popular these days. I did a quick built using Goodisory A01/B01 case once before.

I have used Firefox for many years now then started using duckduckgo for a search engine and on my new system I am using just duckduckgo for browswer and search and it works great. Highly recommend going either way and also using something like mailfence or protonmail.

Idle temps never run much over 30 with either one.

Sometimes I have to use Edge to do certain things and never took temps but just does not run as well, I close it as soon as I can after done with the task.
