The IS-60 has no backplate included.  My 90-degree kit includes a 3D-printed one though.  In combination with the 90-degree adapter, I wasn't able to get better thermals (3950X in Eco-Mode), but I was able to squeeze out 100Mhz more in Prime95 than without the backplate/90-degree combo.  Hope this helps!


Also, the IS-60 EVO is a beast of a cooler.  I was able to only get about 3.3Ghz at best in Prime95 on my IS-60.  I just got a sample for the IS-60 EVO and I can maintain 3.6Ghz on my 3950X with that cooler.  It can get very loud though so maybe swapping out fans would make the noise levels better.
