I picked up an NCase M1 and am loving the size of it. I put an ASUS ROG STRIX x570 itx motherboard in there, knowing that there was no a-key header for the usb-c front port. But the motherboard does have 4 usb 3.1 gen 2 ports on the back (3 type-A, 1 type-C). On a previous case I had, the front ports were enabled by running a hidden USB extension cable from the back panel.

I'd like to keep the usb-c port on the back, but would also like to enable the port on the front, so I was wondering if it would be possible to use one of the type-A gen2 ports from the back with some sort of adapter to the front type-c port. The easiest thing would be if there were something like a type-a => 20pin A-key (like what the front panel would normally plug into on a motherboard). That would allow me to use the custom front port cable that came with the case. Alternately, a standard male type-a to female type-c could probably work. Or a female-female usb-c cable?

Any thoughts or suggestions? Has anyone seen something like this before?
