I recently upgraded my 10 year old 1080p LCD TV to a 65" 4K TV, so it was also time to upgrade the HTPC as well.
Here is a brief journey:
My HTPC used to be a Pentium G4600 on a Gigabyte Z170 mITX mothboard. 16gb 3000 ram, 512gb SSD. I had originally housed everything in a DanCase A4 v1 with a GTX 1050 ti.
After several years of using the DanCase A4, but never used the graphics card in any capacity, I decided to sell the 1050ti. In doing so, I downsized the HTPC build to a Streaco F1C. I picked this case for its compactness.
Upgrading the TV gave me 4k, HDR, and HDMI 2.1 capability, and I wanted to try these out with some of my less utilized components. After looking at my stash of cases, I decided to go with the Node 202. Here are the new specs:
I don't have any pictures yet, but I will post them when I get a chance.
