This adapter allows mounting a 5.5/2.5 mm DC jack (with M8 size threaded barrel), using the same mounting hole as a panel mount DC Power DIN jack would be mounted (eg. KPJX-PM).
The adapter design is based off of the KPJX-PM housing. An alternative design could eliminate the nut for the DC jack, and use a threaded housing.
