I'm on the hunt for the smallest possible case with at least one PCIe slot. It can be Full or low profile as all it needs to do is take a network card like a Mellanox ConnectX-3. This one is 2.7L, but I can't work out how to use taobao to buy it, and I can't seem to find it on Superbuy...

This journey began because my TinyMiniMicro Lenovo M920Q just wasn't cutting it anymore. While it is absolutely tiny, it's just too noisy under heaver loads and I really needed more than 64G ram, and a bit more expandability. Requirements were - fast, small, quiet under load, IPMI, expandable...

I have a C2 on the way as well, but from what I've read so far you might struggle with a full size MATX motherboard and an ATX PSU. I get mine on Friday and will play around with ATX, SFX, and Flex PSU's to see what works :)

The inclusion of dual LAN ports even makes it useful as a tiny hypervisor like ESxi, Proxmox, etc. or as a OPNsense firewall :)
