VLP is on the way--but no reason it should block. The VLP will slot lower than the black locking mechanisms shown. The retention bracket of the cooler runs between the slots. There's another sff member who has already done it from the same ram manufacturer.

Quick question. I've had bad luck with riser cables. Had to replace it 3-4 times over the years cause of PC instability. Anyone else had this issue at least once or twice? I've owned Lian-li and third party.

Confirmed. The closed side panel is a lot louder than no side panel. I can't say I've played games that made it this loud but I suppose it's inevitable. I tested with no in-game audio; I feel like with speakers or headphones it would be acceptable. But that's just me. Undervolting or...
