I'm amazed that this run lined up on the first try. 10/10 hole pattern for the universal mount.
This'll be trickier when the waterblock is actually mounted to the GPU but I'm hopeful, seems like worst case I can screw down the PCI bracket after I'm done. Now time to 3D print some dummy...
Well, you guys bought up all the 280mm STE20s in this hemisphere 😅
Has anyone here done or planned a 280 + 140/120 loop like Taylor's friend did with their early prototype? It seems like one can squeeze in more radiator thickness if they omit a full radiator on the back side which leaves room...
Am I correct in understanding that this PSU and the ROG Loki are the only proper 850w SFX(-L) 4.0 PSUs with a proper 12VHPWR cable that includes the sense pins? Not counting rebrands like the aforementioned apexgaming.
I have a 3D printer so that bracket CAD file might come in super handy; otherwise I don't see a point in mounting a DDC to the FLT80 when the R160 is more manageable.
I should clarify that I meant I wanted a dead-straight, completely vertical hardline run between the two without any adapters...
Has anybody hashed out whether it's possible to do a straight run from a 3080FE block (out the top/back of the card) into an FLT80 or R160? My initial thoughts are that aligning them depth-wise will be the limiting factor, especially with the FLT80 being too thick to shift back and forth and the...
Nice work! Is the temp sensor mounted to anything?
I also realized that an unforeseen benefit of my delayed case is that I get to see how the 7800X3D performs before buying parts 🙂
Nice, perfect fit! Please do share when you figure out the tubing run between the Res and GPU if you haven't already; not looking forward to figuring that part out for myself.
Also, is there enough height in the case for crossflow radiators? I want to put a drain port in but the reservoir...
Can you clarify what you mean by "the shortest section"? Does the available thickness differ across the height of the case? (Sorry, still waiting for mine)
I appreciate you sharing your experience with the FLT80. I'm going to try and squeeze in a Glacier R160 and will have to be mindful about...
Is there a confirmed total radiator+fan thickness available? Looks like sffbuild was able to squeeze in 115mm which I wanted to double-check was near the limit.
Unfortunately the EKWB sale came too early for me to have taken measurements of the case first! Has anybody else done any preliminary loop-planning with a 3080 FE vector yet? Can't decide between an FLT80 or R160, and there is sure to be some complex fitting work between the res and GPU.
