Memory Very low profile DDR4 ram

I misspoke, as I have yet to receive them. In the (hopeful) hypothetical where the thermals are good, I’ll list them. Regardless, as soon as I lay my hands on them, you guys will be the first to know. I’ll post benchmarks and pictures of the config. For science.

@CubanLegend: Ordered 2x the heatsink pairs from AliE btw, so if the thermals are good, I'll put the others up on Ebay for cheap (to cover shipping) and you can check it out if you wish.

What model of the vcolor vlp are you using, and do you have pictures of the sticks, the error and the boot process? I'll be booting mine up on an x570 Aorus in the next two weeks, so hopefully I can help :) Update on that «ugh» for the heatsinks : Canada Post lost my package (no fault of the...

Memory Very low profile DDR4 ram

Interesting... every gpu degree counts, especially in a sff gaming PC! I was coincidentally just wondering about the quality of the stock thermal pads in GPUs... Definitely below 11W/mK, but if 6W/mK is an upgrade , at that price I'll definitely mod my rx 5700 itx. Me too! With a 12mm Scythe...

Memory Very low profile DDR4 ram

To follow up on my previous post: while waiting the 2 months for my red vlp heatsinks products to arrive (...ugh), I dug up a handful of reviews for them online. The heatsink seems just fine (aluminium is aluminium), but the packaged thermal pads apparently have very little thermal conductivity...

Memory Very low profile DDR4 ram

I contacted Vcolor through Newegg.com for that exact item a week ago. They were in stock a few days ago; I would assume they will restock soon. I can also confirm that the item on the Newegg listing uses the CJR ICs.

Heads-up: found the same model from a reputable seller on Amazon.com. According to that listing, it would seem so. I have ordered them, so hopefully I’ll be able to bring you guys some better info on these heatsinks.

Power Supply Build review (K39, Geeek 600w modular PSU - ENP 7660B)

I read a few reviews mentioning the PSU failing; I wonder if it could be attributed to the forgotten isolation you mention.

Production Velka series cases for ultra compact and portable desktops

Velka 3 + Alpenfohn Black Ridge... could it be possible?!? Came upon this incredible direct die black ridge build (+ read follow-up post) that shaves about 3 mm off the CPU cooler clearance, bringing it down to 43 mm !! Hypothetically, as in practice attempting this could be a costly ordeal...

Production Velka series cases for ultra compact and portable desktops

May 18th could not come any sooner! Can't wait to learn more about this case: top i/o had been the only thing keeping me away from the Velka 5. Looking forward to the world's smallest rear i/o + full length GPU case! Hey, and if it fits the Alpenfohn Black Ridge, I'm golden!

8:24 on the video - An image speaks a thousand words (luckily! since I don't speak mandarin)... ... in my case "And that is why I do not do hard tubing!" about a 100 times lol. (Best colour scheme I've seen in ages though (down to the screws!). Just missing that RGB bear...)

Yup, it still is (luckily)! I asked alphacool about that too. Yeah but those 10 seconds of invincibility were greeeeeaaat I am sure.

I contacted Alphacool about this. Unfortunately, there are still only ports on one side of the reservoir. ...but hey! there's an RGB bear! ... ;)

How about applying thermal paste on the bear side and sticking it to your CPU? ;)

Yeah, the fans are guaranteed «sell on Ebay to make some money back» for me, but I do like the RGB on the Eisbaer logo, as it's somewhat minimalistic.
