I cut one of the GPU mounting rods in half, the thread goes through and they can be used on both sides. The pump is an Alphacool Laing DDC310 with EK-XTOP DDC. I haven't yet finished this build so I can't say much about the final noise in the Meshi but in my previous build the pump was...

With the GPU in the highest position and a bit of modding a DDC fits there. Barely but fits. There is even some space below for dampening foam to decouple the pump.

Using 4 slot here, that gains about 2 cm versus 3 slot. Is there even a slim enough rad that could fit including fans in 3 slot mode? Tried the pump above the PSU but no luck (at least in 4 slot mode). But might work with another pump like the DC-LT (like here).
