    Moving to Ncase M1 V6.1

For what it's worth, I went ahead and simply moved my existing ML06-E setup into the NCase M1 swapping out the GTX 1650 LP for the Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 5600 XT. I kept my CPU undervolting the same as well as keeping the Noctua NL-L12S cooler. I am extremely happy with the results. My cpu...

    Moving to Ncase M1 V6.1

I built an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 SFF in a Silverstone Mile ML06-E earlier this year (see sig). I have really loved this build...but since I have been stuck working from home since mid-March...I have doing more gaming. I decided that I need to upgrade my GPU which wasn't possible in the ML06-E. I...

Did the current gen GPUs ever get any Low Profile graphics cards?

I picked up the Gigabyte version of the 1650 LP a little earlier this year too. It has been fine and pretty quiet. My ears also perked up about a GDDR6 version of the GTX 1650 LP, but I hadn't heard that there was plans for any yet. I think that I did see that something like 6-10% performance...

    Some cooling and noise questions

Ok, I did some more testing to try to understand what running with an offset can buy me vs fixed frequency/voltage. I can see a drop in power and temperatures with the offset voltage, but I seem to lose performance, if anything. Here are my Cinebench numbers: 1.15v@4.2GHz = 3810/490 (MT/ST)...

    Some cooling and noise questions

For the stock settings, I just reset to defaults in the BIOS and manually overclocked the RAM again. I believe that sets the PBO to Auto. I am not sure if that is actually off or on. I will take a look at what you detailed and see what I can come up with letting Ryzen boost itself. Well, if it...

    Some cooling and noise questions

I am not using the LNA adapter. I was really trying my best to find an approach that could keep the processor cool in the tiny case, that was a higher priority for me than noise. I wanted to make sure that I could get the higher cpu fan speeds to keep things cooler. I had read that same advice...

    Some cooling and noise questions

Start with HWInfo64 to monitor your system. You can use it to record log files during your testing runs that you can refer back to later or really study the results. I just recently downloaded an add-on to HWInfo that I wish I had earlier that makes it easier to look at results and compare log...

Enclosure Is there any SFF case worth the upgrade from a Raven RVZ02?

Yeah, it takes time to find settings that are optimal. I like the tinkering, so it was a fun exercise. If that is not your thing, then definitely find a solution that can work for you with little tinkering needed. Good luck!

Enclosure Is there any SFF case worth the upgrade from a Raven RVZ02?

Here is a link to a thread on the overclockers forum where I was trying to work through this. I actually started working on this with a post on this site before moving over to overclockers to try to get some more pointers. There are actually at least two different ways to go about running a...

Enclosure Is there any SFF case worth the upgrade from a Raven RVZ02?

Another thing to consider if you are not interested in overclocking is to just undervolt it. I just recently set up my 3600 in a Silverstone ML06-E. I also had all sorts of issues at the stock settings with a Noctua NL-L12S cooler. I was able to undervolt to 1.15V and still run an all-core...

Production CONSOLE and CONSWOLE: entry level 2-slot and 3-slot console cases! [Available Now!]

Do you mean the fans on the GPU itself? I believe that the open air fans usually pull air in towards the heat sinks while the blower style exhaust out the back.

Production CONSOLE and CONSWOLE: entry level 2-slot and 3-slot console cases! [Available Now!]

I had a very similar experience with a 3600 (non-X) and a L12S in a very small case (ML06-E) and temperatures running hot in Cinebench and Prime95 at stock settings. My ML06-E case does not have any fans currently other than the cpu cooler, so I cannot really say how the other exhaust fans might...

Production CONSOLE and CONSWOLE: entry level 2-slot and 3-slot console cases! [Available Now!]

Just wanted to try to clarify based on the pictures that I have seen posted, the gpu fan and the cpu fan will both point towards the top of the case when laid flat, correct? I believe that I saw cases like the Fractal Node 202 had the gpu fans pointing down in that orientation. I don't see this...

    Future Low Profile GPU

Valantar- Thanks and you are of course correct. There really are a lot of vertical case options and that is really the right way to go for small with fewer compromises. I really am the one with the desire for/fascination with small horizontal cases. I have also seen the horizontal styles like...
