Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Hmm, have just looked at the SFX internal kit on Sliger's website and think I'm missing two of the countersunk screws, as their image shows the power extension cable mounted on the rear bracket, plus 4 more countersunk screws for the front bracket. Also, I've managed to destroy one of the...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Hi Guys, My Cerberus turned up today and was waiting for me after work. Even more impressive in person and the build quality on mine looks top-notch. I've gone for the front mount SFX, and am just a bit confused about the provided screws. Here's what I've got - x6 of the domed screws on the...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Just one other question, if I have a 140mm fan as exhaust on the side bracket, 240mm AIO on bottom and front mount PSU, is a 120mm fan as intake on the rear infinity vent reasonable for VRM cooling, or would it be better at the front? [EDIT] Should I just try and see? ;)

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Awesome. thanks! Looking forward to the case. I'm in Australia as well, but I can appreciate it's not cheap slinging a 5kg+ case halfway round the world...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Thanks @MarcParis, I definitely will! Trigger.... pulled. Do you have any advice for the best place to mount a 2.5" SSD? I'm using an M.2 SSD for boot but want a wee bit of mass storage.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Hi all, So I'm about to pull the trigger on the Cerberus with these components, and just need a bit of advice: - MSI X299M GAMING PRO CARBON AC Motherboard - i9-7900X - Silverstone SFX-L SST-SX800-LTI 800W PSU - Zotac GeForce 1080 Ti FE GPU - Cooler Master Nepton 240M AIO cooler Will I have...

Prototype Project Orthrus - Smallest SLI mATX case (V2)

Ohmagerd, just came here from the Cerberus thread, this is amazing! I'd probably only run one GPU and a X299 board, but goodness, the size! I've been quietly musing why no-one has ever put PCIe risers in and turned the GPU sideways, but here it is! Great work, hopefully this makes it to...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Timely build post! That's fantastic, if the 980 doesn't fit it might just be an excuse to go to a standard 1080 Ti. Thanks!

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Hi, Is there anywhere with updated clearances for GPUs etc? I'm trying to figure out if my GTX 980 Ti (MSI Gaming 6G - 277 x 140 x 40mm) will fit as well as a Nepton 240M cooler either vertical at front or under the GPU. Thanks!

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Hi, Is there any provision for a rear-mounted SFX power supply, for use with a single GPU and front-mounted radiatior? I'm planning on using a Cooler Master Nepton 120 which has a 47mm block, so should just fit an ATX supply, but it would be good to have a bit more room, and I don't want to use...
