If they end up making a wider case some migh use the icegiant prosiphon elite cooler for a threadripper build. Also, the next generation of the D15 if noctua ever gets around to making it might be more of an improvement. I preferr air cooling, but liquid is definitely more compact.

A XL version that fits the D15 would be very interesting. The new NH-D12L cooler would likely be plenty, but overkill is nice also!

I like seeing this project progress even if it still isn't available, athough I would of course prefer to be able to buy it😁. If there have been any updates could we get some more photos?

I preferred the simple appeal of the cx2, but the possibilities offered by everything being screwed together vs riveted are appealing. I also would be happy with either coming to market.

Any reason to not make the feet removeable as well? Then you could have both options, horn feet and normal rubber feet.

I think I speak for many of us when I say we will wait🙂 I hope the idea of installing a SFX PSU on the bottom front of the case is still under consideration. It would be very nice to have some extra room for short PCIe cards if it doesn't affect anything else too drastically.

Indeed, I am always sad when the newest reply is just someone else waiting for progress updates, but at least we know the case will be made eventually. Also, I realize I am probably disappointing everyone that gets emailed that there is a new post and are hopping it is a progress update. :)

From what Wahaha360 said the case will still be produced some time in the future, but there was not a production plan as of August 23rd due to Covid.

I believe the prototype of the case was made by Lian Li since it has the same handle as the TU150. There is always the possibility the Chimera CX2 could end up with the same mesh pattern as you are talking about ? Personally, I think that a round hole mesh pattern might fit the design of the...
