    LCD screen side panels?

Well, I was surprised to see a computer company release something like iBuyPower's Snow Blind case at a reasonable price point, especially considering I'd not really heard of modders doing much with the idea. A bit surprised no one is selling kits state-side for this. A number of Google...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

It's been a bummer that the SFF friendly cases for micro and full size ATX boards with 2-way SLI / crossfire full-size GPUs have continued to not be readily available. I've been trying to find one to buy for about a year now... I love the idea of the Cerberus X, and would happily give ten hours...

    Motherboard Best Micro-ATX for 2011-v3?

They seem to be sold out in EVGA's store. There's a popular ASUS one as well, but the EVGA's specs are more appealling... though it's hard to find onine in the US for even close to the MSRP. An alternative possibility; I may just buy the Gigabyte x99 Designaire to replace my Pheonix SLI, then...

    Motherboard Best Micro-ATX for 2011-v3?

Yeah, the EVGA was about the only one I found with usb-c and the other stuffs. Now, the next challenge is finding one for purchase somewhere.

    Motherboard Best Micro-ATX for 2011-v3?

Hey all. Looking for a SLI or Crossfire capable micro-ATX 2011-v3 board for a potential build paired with a i7-6850k. M.2 is a must, USB-C is a big plus, and enough USB 3.0 ports for Rift is a must. Any thoughts on who made the best one? Looks like no new ones have come out since 2015, so it's...

    Super short 4-pin molex heads?

So, the extenders didn't work. Stock, they were way to long 1cm or so, and the two I tried modding were either too short or the orientation of the cable impacted the motherboard preventing a good connection. No one knows of a half height 4-pin molex connection?

    Super short 4-pin molex heads?

Oh... Good info on the pins determining gender. Thanks for the feedback, y'all

    Super short 4-pin molex heads?

Howdy all. So, I did a new non-SFF workstation build using the Gigabyte Phoenix SLI x99 motherboard and the NZXT S340. It has a female 4-pin molex (like the types hard drives and optical drives used to connect with before SATA became the norm) at a 90 degree angle on the bottom edge of the...

    Node 202 revisited

How did you go about undervolting? Manually set the VCORE? How much of a reduction did you set it to while remaining stable?

    Node 202 revisited

Yeah. Shit airflow for sure. Alas, This is functioning as my high-end living room 4k gaming machine (and I just blew my four year computer upgrades budget on a new i7-6850k workstation I'll be building in a few days), so I'm not sure the HDplex PSUs would provide adequate power for my setup. I...

    Node 202 revisited

So... Wow... Admittedly, the ambient temps are probably 2-5 F lower than last night, but going down to low 70Cs on Time Spy stress test just happened. From a measly .06 vcore lowering. I wasn't expecting such a drastic thermal shift. Does that correspond with anyone else's experience, or is...

    Node 202 revisited

Greetings everyone. Well, I decided to try to address some ongoing issues with my initial node 202 build. Namely, the CPU temps and the noise being higher than I would prefer. In the process, I decided to upgrade to a i7 7700k processor and swap one of the two 850 evo 500GB drives for a 2...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

With my birthday coming up on April 7th, I'm thinking of getting a mATX mobo that supports SLI and a SFF that could fit two ROG STRIX Geforce 10 series cards in it. Will the Cerberus be obtainable by the end of April, or will I need to look elsewhere to find a SFF that can fit a larger CPU...

Some new builds and a question on an old.

Howdy all. For the new; So, I have an i7 6850k and a i7 7700k on the way. I could use suggestions on the smallest case for a mATX mobo that can do two large GPUs in a 2 way SLI configuration (such as the ASUS ROG series 1080 GPUs) while having adequate enough airflow to be quiet at load. I'd...

SFF.Network AMD Ryzen announced, detailed and available for pre-order TODAY !

I'm thrilled to see the Ryzen review numbers matching up well with leaked numbers. The Ryzen line looks like it won't do anything the BEST compared to offers from intel, but it will do everything WELL at an extremely competitive price point. If I hadn't gotten my 6850k for half off, I'd totally...
