Rumor 28 core ITX from ASRock Rack EPC621D4I-2M

Personally I find it's noise easily bearable but I dont really prioritize silence and ive got fans and other machines running around me. Though on its own (ie, alone, in a room with no other fans running or other noise sources), it is certainly audible when cooling a fully loaded 165W+ cpu.

Rumor 28 core ITX from ASRock Rack EPC621D4I-2M

This is quite exciting! I'd like to see what they can do for TR4 and/or epyc however. Maybe something will show up at computex.. maybe. Currently I've been running a P-8136 on an mATX supermicro board in a Ceberus case, which are the smallest boards you can get for this platform while still...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

When the cases ship, will the tracking be delivered by email? I was wondering since the window side panels were slated to ship today. I had also talked to a rep previously on the support email and opted to get my case w/ a b-grade side panel early though i never got any communications after...

    The space inefficiency thread

Interesting to learn! So is the large keep out zone around the cpu for LN2 cooling?

    The space inefficiency thread

Its not a case, but how do you manage to only fit 4 DIMM slots on an EATX (albiet non-supermicro-EATX-spec) motherboard? EVGA somehow managed to do it though:

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I completely forgot about the side hinge bracket! :| - Using that would certainly be a good idea and would probably solve the whiole issue. I've got the handle kit ordered for my case. As for an AIO, the dies in these CPUs are huge so likely the only viable option would one of the...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I couldn't edit my previous post (I think the software thinks its spam-like due to the links), but i also had the thought that perhaps thin blower fans attached to the side of the PSU with a divider installed to only pull in outside air might also do the trick.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I have a supermicro X11SPM-F https://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/C620/X11SPM-F.cfm w/ all 6 ram slots populated and a dynatron B5 https://ssli.ebayimg.com/images/g/eIgAAOSwvp5ZgPoQ/s-l640.jpg I am trying to provide some additional front -> back airflow across the ram and for...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Been waiting for those side panels! Finally got my cerberus ordered! Is it possible to stick some 1U (40mm) server fans under the SFX PSU when the PSU is installed in the front? (as in, in the gap on the fronnt between the SFX PSU and the motherboard side of the case) I'll find out in a few...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I've pretty much been sitting in the same boat - waiting for the windowed side panels while my build is in a temp case
