Yeah the discussion is headed in the wrong direction imo. V1 is done, everyone who wanted one and couldn't get one complained, pretty sure Dan heard it, now it's time to move on. Let's rather focus on users feedback from V1 and look ahead to V2.
someone on a caseking review said he'd rather see the case made with CNC instead of standard stamping process. what's the difference? I'd gladly pay more if the former is better.
Since the V1 and V2 will have such different aesthetics and also slightly different capabilities, I don‘t think they would have cannibalized each other and shops wouldn‘t have been sitting on stockpiles of „old“ V1 cases if they were to exist simultaneously. I think it‘s too soon to judge about...
