neg PBO is per se not undervolting. Find a good neg PBO curve, and set limits to PPT/EDC/TDC, you can do this in bios or ryzen master. If you dont want to automatically adjust PPT/EDC/TDC, you can activate ECO MODE in bios, this will set consumption to 45W. By far the easiest approach.

You should use some electrical tape to protect those components. Opening PSUs can be dangerous. NFC systems has a video on youtube where he uses a ”open” HDplex AC/DC in a build, check it out for tips.

Hmm, thought you had to grind it thinner?

I believe for that GPU model, if you want to go brickless, you need to modify the HDplex AC/DC unit and also use a angled pcie-connector.
