I was enamored with DSE's Vertex, but unfortunately it looks like it will never see the light of day. I was excited for SV540/590, but it just barely missed the mark for me in anesthetics. This case will more than scratch my Vertex itch. I can't wait for it to enter production.

How would IO work? Any consideration to flip so IO comes out of the bottom like DSE Vertex? Edit: I love the aesthetic btw.

I think the poster was talking about ball and joint attachment points (lian li style) instead of screws.

I'm completely smitten by the Vertex, so I'm hoping that it comes out at some point.

59mm CPU cooler height would allow me to reuse my tried but true big shuriken 2! I like the smaller hexagonal holes - my biggest 'gripe' with them on the s401 was the front panel.

I mentioned 750w because that build is using an SF750. I agree with you; I doubt the build uses more than 500w. However, if it's coming close to the PSU's capacity, that 18g wire is getting nice n toasty. Edit: just re-read your post and zoomed into the photo. Didn't catch that it has two wires...

I wouldn't be comfortable with 750w going through that thing.

I'm super stoked for this. My undervolted Vega draws about 150w, and I'm due to upgrade my cpu when 7nm Ryzens come out. 400W envelope allows for an awesome little rig.

Anodizing also has a more negative environmental impact, if that plays into the decision at all. I do agree that a nice anodize looks very premium. Edit: my understanding of anodization is based upon techniques of years past, looks like it's now seen as a more environmentally friendly method? Hrm.

Just a point for aesthetics: I think the top and side panels' perforations should extend the same amont. From the render (which I know isn't final) the top perforations reach further to the rear of the case. It may obstruct a bit of a top mount fan, but filling in the last few rows of holes...
