I got my Xcase S the other week and I was actually going to make one myself! I don’t have a big YouTube channel or anything but I figured with some decent editing and my 24MP camera I could make something nice out of it. Because yeah, for how great of a concept this case is, it certainly...
Well, not entirely pointless as a dual slot but single slot width card. Im attempting to create a 1050ti with a water cooled i7 processor with the highest overclock I can get. Mostly need it for rendering 4K Video and modest gaming here and there. And effectively, it has to be an ultra small...
I’ve done my searching throughout the forum and have seen no mention of this GPU. It’s by far the most compact 1050ti I’ve ever seen. I just wanted to get thoughts from any of you on this. Like what the thermals would be like and how one would come about buying one.
Yeah, it’s a late reply, but here. So an pcix4 slot (AKA M.2) can only output 25W TDP. Meaning, any 1050ti would need a power connector. A full pcie x16 slot with any x16 to x16 riser will be able to power any 1050ti with a 75W tdp.
Does anyone know how much room there would be between the motherboard and the other end of the case? Like, say I didn’t install a gpu, how much room would there be between the end of the motherboard and the other side?
The HD Plex combo actually runs at a good temperature, with the heavy duty aluminum heat sinks. With 80mm fans blowing tons of air through the system, your psu shouldn’t at all over heat or affect the overall thermals of the system. And the ME just has more headroom than your standard L, thus...
I don’t exactly understand your question. Does this adapter have to fit internally? Because you then need to specify how much space you have for anyone to give you a good answer.
Wouldn’t an ME be more than sufficient? Use the HD Plex 400W DC-ATX with the 300W ac-dc adapter and you’re good to go. More compact than an L. You really don’t need more than 210mm of gpu clearance. So, in summary, I’d assume that the answer is no. You don’t need anything more than 250W for...
Sorry if this has been asked, I’m new to the community. So, if you had an HD Plex 160W dc-ATX power supply, but a 300W ad-dc adapter, your peak is still 200W, correct?
Hey Matt! I just ordered an Xcase S the other day. Do you think, with the opposite to motherboard layout I ordered, it would be possible to fit an ultra slim power brick if I installed a low profile 1050ti? Gigabyte makes one that’s 167mm long, meaning it would fit inside, but that would...
