With some luck an Asus TUF 3080 OC Gaming fell into my lap today. Currently running it with an open case. I'll cut my 15mm GPU spacer panel so that I can close it. Will post another update then. Album here: Imgur Album

I wonder if a 15mm spacer element would let you close the case.
