Sorry for the late reply. In my experience, the two optional USB2 connections are not very reliable, and part of the problem is the heat from the unit. If you are going to connect a pen drive, a wireless mouse receiver, or things like that, use extension cables so that they don't get too hot. I...

If this is true Renoir is just a transition: https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-ryzen-2021-2022-roadmap-partially-leaks This would explain why there is no general availability for Renoir desktop APUs, Cezanne (Zen 3) would be the real bet for this year. Taking into account that Desktop APUs are...

That's what I always expected, 8c/16t seems too much for the A300, while 6c/12t with the 7nm advantages could be equivalent in power requirements to the 3400G. But, who knows. If a laptop can handle 8c/16t with good performance maybe our DeskMinis will too.

It doesn't matter how much VRAM you assign, the GPU takes as much as it needs when it needs it. The only point for reserving 2GB is so that some games don't refuse to run because they think that you don't have enough VRAM available.

Even if you are able to fit it there it would be too much heat for the unit. Everything would throttle like crazy, especially the NVME if you use the slot located under your Epp-120S-12.

No, you need to apply an XMP profile to get 3200.

Which version of Radeon Software are you running? I have noticed a lot of instability with the latest version 20. 5 .1 on my A300. It seems to be worse if you use the Edge browser. If your crashes are related with this issue you could try reverting to a previous version. And now off topic...
