Had my Densium v2 and Enhance PSU sitting around for months, finally imported a MSI AERO ITX 3060ti from Japan in October/November and finally finally managed to grab the MSI B650I EDGE board. Been fully operational for a week or so now. Put the side panels on a while after this (was still...
The first video I've seen of a 'weak' cooler being used on a 7000 series, in this case the 7600X. I've seen a temp comparison on 1000 series CPUs where the Spire is a few degrees cooler then the L9a. Performance is decent actually if you don't mind the 95C business.
Alright, awesome. I just remembered in the changelogs for the Densium v2 there were mentions of previous unspecified backplate issues (though on the GPU side to be fair), just didn't wanna jump into anything and find it wasn't going to work
Yeah, there's a few scraps out this minute about eco...
AM5 is looking hot... literally x) The benchmarks with eco mode on look insane, just a question of how much of that is still possible with the smallest air coolers you can get...
The Z39 is there, the L9A now has the AM5 compatible brackets available, I think the Thermalright AXP90-X36 would...
Will spare front panels ever go on sale? Don't think the black/black variant existed when I preordered. Might try a little bit of DIY colour while I wait for AM5 news but it'd be good to know I wouldn't have to live with ruined wood
Hell a CAD file might do
Don't think so chief. Bracket is screwed in or at least lodged way stiffer then I'm willing to tug. No finessing it either since the box is in the spot of the power supply and it's nearly as large as the power supply would be.
Mine just arrived - looks great, stacked the chassis on top of my current Sliger SM550 as a size comparison. Seeing the difference is definitely rather daunting in a way x) But I suppose I won't need to worry until I finalize my plans to either transplant or go AM5.
In the meantime I might be...
Heh, yeah I should have had my SATA done shorter. Doesn't help they also gave it a right angle connection so I won't be able to tuck it deep into the gap besides the power supply. Diagram did not suggest they had those sorts of connections
Maybe the extra slack will hold it down by pure...
Do whatever's best for you mate. If need be I'll jump on the D4 v2 if things look dicey for future iterations. The MSI Aero ITX GPU seems to be an institution at this point with how many kinds there have been in the same dimensions
Something I just remembered... a few builds here slipped an SSD in the gap between the power supply and at the very least the case side panel on the motherboard side. Is that still possible with the prototype?
It's not so much value for me as it is just long cards aren't made for 2 slots anymore. I might have got a 3070 or 3080 but there's literally only two models that fit my full length sandwich cases - the reference cards and the EVGA XC3. Cards were already extremely pricy and hard to get a hold...
Looks amazing. Changes are pretty much everything I wanted to see too.
Trouble is I'm in the market for the Plus 2 so it's a pity that's going to be on pause for the time being. Don't have a great deal of confidence there'll be a <215mm RTX 4060ti with the apparently scaling power requirements...
