Production Nouvolo Steck - SFF 8.7-11.2L ITX PC Case, supports liquid cooling

So the Kickstarter is launching tomorrow, but what is the date the cases will start shipping? I need a case as soon as possible, but seems like my options a limited and it's a waiting game.

Sounds more like it depends on what motherboard you are using than the bracket.

Hmm? Really hope that isn't true.

That's true. Either the cooler isn't properly mounted or Intel did a terrible job with the thermal paste which we have seen before.

As long as it doesn't go past 85c it will last at least a decade. He would have better temps if he optioned for the K version and downclocked/volted. It is what it is, but I can assure you he will be fine at those temps for years to come. edit: i7-8700: IDLE 35W GAMING 71W RENDERING 113W Prime...

82c is fine on the 8700.

Using a tophat with two Noctua NF-A12's as exhaust really didn't do anything to my temps as I thought it would. I might try reversing the fans having them blow air down instead. Really puzzled about this as a lot of hot air is exiting the case, but seems like it had no effect on temps. Edit...

I'll try to get it done later in the evening. Currently at 4.8ghz on a 7700K and hitting close to 90 with the copper top on, 80-85c without it, so that's quite a difference. The 120x15mm fans should really help the temps. Noise isn't too bad at load, but I'm lucky with my GPU as it doesn't go...

Building a 2700x with a 1070 in a few days with the corsair sf450 and should be sufficient. Was thinking about testing that precise setup as i have the fans and the top hat. Right now I'm not running any top hats and I'm around 80-84c with a mild overclock, but that's without tweaking voltage...

That sounds really strange? Got a 4790K (not delidded) in a Silverstone sg05-lite using a nh-l12 while overclocked to 4.5ghz on all cores and while playing bf5 it hits a maximum of 70c and stress testing 78-80c. The sg05-lite should have a lot worse temps than a sandwich case.. Just sounds weird...

Can you provide a link to the test? I'm hitting very good temps, but if I can improve that further.. Well.

    Nanook's build log (9900K / Asrock Z390 / RTX 2080Ti)

Have you looked at your cpu IHS to see if it's completely flat? Sometimes these things just need to get lapped. Voids warranty, but you can't mess it up really.

    Nanook's build log (9900K / Asrock Z390 / RTX 2080Ti)

It's very dependent on the individual card. My second 2080ti XC(not ultra) doesn't go higher than 68c and barely any noise at full load, while my first 2080ti would scream and the fans would fill the whole room with noise at load while burning hot.

Is it your GPU that makes the noise or the CPU? You could turn the fans up on the GPU a little bit. Not sure how much space you have, but throwing a copper plate on that drive would help with a few degrees.

I haven't moved my system to the Ghost yet, but I have my L12 cooler in the same orientation towards the PSU and it works perfectly fine. You are good.
