I also have a DDC310 and Iceman res in my Ncase build. Even at 8V (approximately 1900RPM) it is clearly audible, however much better than at full speed. I have ordered one of these replacement PCBs to add PWM control, I'm hoping that it will allow me to get the pump down to 1000RPM or less.

Same problem here with the new BIOS and 'passive' mode. The fan makes an annoying tick sound every few seconds when it starts up and immediately stops. Does anyone actually test these before public release?

Thanks, but I've (hopefully) already got all the fittings I'll need. Just waiting on the Iceman reservoir and a Barrow GPU block from AliExpress. Definitely keen to see some photos when you get your build up and running though.

I'm planning a similar build with similar components. Most of my parts haven't arrived yet so I can't comment on fittings and such too much, however I can say that with the fittings I'll be using at least (EK Classic 10/16mm & EK-AF), a 20mm extender plus 90 deg fitting will clear the 25mm fans...

If you're using bottom fans in exhaust with a deshrouded GPU or Accelero, definitely intake. If the GPU is intake then probably exhaust, but I don't have any data to back that up. I run a C14S in my build.

Nothing wrong with your build, however have you considered upgrading the CPU cooler to something like a Noctua U9S or C14S? For the price of the three A12 fans (CPU and intake) which you wouldn't need you could purchase one of those two coolers and have better CPU temps. You could also consider...

According to this post, the thermal pads used on both Asus ITX boards are pretty terrible, and sometimes not even installed property. I have considered replacing mine, but it's not really worth it when the chipset fan is inaudible and the temps aren't causing any issues. I'm only running a Gen3...
