    An update on James (Aibohphobia)

James, if you stop by again, know that I'm super grateful for your involvement in the community (and the super sexy Cerberus I finally got my hands on!). Look out for yourself, and I wish you well! Josh, thanks for the update. I still feel like a bit of an ass for bugging you months ago when...

I don't think that's ever been said sincerely before

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I'll be redoing all my bends and what not within the month... decided I'm not going to wait for the new noctua fans. So, pretty pics soon TM

    Cerberus-X Watercooling [IN PROGRESS]

I wish! It whines a decent bit... Loudest part of the system :D Got 2045 core and +525 on memory stable on every game. Escape from Tarkov ruined my 2090 stable.. :(

    Cerberus-X Watercooling [IN PROGRESS]

Here's yer benchmarks! 1080ti is so COLD it's unreal. If I had a beefier PSU I'd give it the 'ol shunt mod so it could take more power.

    Cerberus-X Watercooling [IN PROGRESS]

Oh I totally have it delidded, with some nice liquid metal there now. I saw some nice performance improvements on air - but little to no improvement once on water, which is why I'm worried there's poor contact. 7700k at 1.3v, 4.9 Ghz. 70c. Bleugh. I will run more tests when I get home.

    Cerberus-X Watercooling [IN PROGRESS]

I've done both and I'm massively impressed with the ability of a waterblock to suck heat away from the 1080ti. Less impressed thus far with the z270i monoblock, I'm worried it isn't seated as well as it could be. The package heats up quite a bit more (and can spike to 70c) with an extremely...

Are there any benchmarks you're particularly fond of? It's been a long time since I've put a pc together so if you have a suite of tests you like to run I'll happily defer to your judgement.

I promise with the Jan update I'll take the time to take thorough pictures and do a nice writeup of things I've learned and what not.

    Cerberus-X Watercooling [IN PROGRESS]

Day 25??? Ho Ho Ho! So the end of the year always ends up being a flurry of work and I have little to no time for recreational pursuits like this monster. A few spare moments in the last few weeks were spent bending, but I ended up throwing most of my gear in my car and taking it to the parents'...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Should be doable, plus a CPU AIO. Your case will definitely be crowded with all that tubing! Not sure how quiet 2 (or 3) AIO pumps and fans will be.

Next update on my build log for Marc - "Chrome panels, tempered glass, AND LEDS"

    Cerberus-X Watercooling [IN PROGRESS]

Minor Update - turned it all on to make sure it'd boot - and it does! Woo! The ML's are remarkably quiet, but can move quite a bit of air (and make quite a bit of noise) if you let them run wild at max RPM. stole borrowed a heat gun from a coworker today so will perhaps attempt some bending...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I had an absolute HELL of a time getting my IO plate to stay put. But I eventually did it. I think the case walls might be too thick for most of the little pokey bits on the shield to through and hold it in place.
