    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

Have you tried Caseking.de? I made the mistake I ordered from Overclockers, payed superexpensive shipping and then it came from Caseking where if I was ordering it from directly, I would pay 1/3 of the price :DDD EDIT: so caseking has nothing on stock, srry

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

Significantly! Here is what I've tested on: i7 8700 (not K) + GTX 1070 + Noctua NH l9i fins vertically + polished duct The bottom underMB fan (blower) reduces the temps 5-7 degrees in extreme conditions. It doesn't do much in normal/idle mode, but when the room temps rise or when you stress your...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

Absolutely. And for several reasons: now you blow hot air on the vrm which is certainly not a good idea you are blocking the airflow with your RAM modules, trapping the hot air inside you are not effectively using the bottom fan, which would easily blow the hot air out and away from the case...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

The problem I see is, you have the heatsink vertically, which will always mean worse temps. Basically, from what I see, there can be plenty of hot air coming back to the heatsink and staying trapped. Shouldn't be that bad, so I still would try to re-paste the CPU. If that doesn't help, I would...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

Interestingly enough, I swapped the fan to blower and I have similar issue.

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

That is really cool! I especially like the PSU riser. At this moment, I feel like the space under PSU is kinda problematic. Be careful! They need to be shorter or you will damage the heatsink... you will bend a rib on each of the holes. I realized this too late. It doesn't have any actual...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

I am not sure. Anyway here are the specs: Motherboard: ASRock Z390M-ITX/AC - Intel Z390 (lame, I wanted a different one, made a wrong drop in a basket, but whatevs), still pretty good MB CPU: Intel Core i7-8700 - I didn't take 8700K on purpose, as the non-overclocked differences are negligible...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

And just one more thing, the thermals are nearly perfect. With the bottom 14mm fan and the duct, I am on the "open case" stats from my much bigger case. So if Noctua N9 is enough for you on open setup, it will be working perfectly with the duct and bottom 92x92x14 push out. I am returning the...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

Hi, I received my DAN A4 v4 and I was impressed by the quality. On the other hand, I really didn't like the black back on all aluminum case, so I've decided to do something about it. I went with the "Bang & Olufsen Beolit 17" look - I didn't want to use aluminum paint, cause that would be hard...

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

I asked in 3D Printing group on facebook and I got like 100 replies of people offering me to print it for 5 dollars. At the end, I got 2 for free.

    DAN A4-SFX v4.1

I am still waiting for my DAN case, but from what I've seen, the intake bottom fan should be probably better (let's say we speak about vertical CPU heatsink), leading to "open case" temps. The issue tho is not the recycled air. I believe this is a very low factor issue. The main problem I see...

Enclosure Custom side panels for sff cases

You are always charged by the length of the cut + for the material itself. I wouldn't say a plate of copper is that expensive. This is what I've found for a sheet of 3mm copper 60x30 cm — £86.40 - So yeah, it is expensive but the cut usually does the most. Now the holes - if you make the holes...

Enclosure Custom side panels for sff cases

There are 2 options how you can do it + one simplified option. CNC it from 5cm thick metal - this is often used as the easiest option, but usually for smaller parts. Basically, all the excess material is drilled out and used again. From what I see, this would be the only option you would have...
