I ordered one in december 2019.
I thought the plate on which the ssd bracket is mounted was massive. But there are a lot of holes in it. Noctua does make also very small fans, and I was asking myself if it is usefull to build in some of them.
I saw the update's. Is it possible to build in some small noctua fans if the ssd-bracket is removed. I didn't order a booster cell, I liked the original design more.
As you now I won't use an AIO so airflow is important for my build.
That's the reason I cut a part off. On the other side the brackets rested on the smp parts. That could be a reason that the BR has no good full contact with the cpu. I think this is why Alphenföhn now delivers the BR with brackets for AM4 only.
Quite important because I'm considering a 9 3900x...
As a part of the fun I always try to find nice 2nd hand stuff. In this case a Blackridge and a Gygabyte b450i. So I saved some money and sent it to Alex for a Mjolnir;-)
