I have no interest in overclocking, I just want the CPU to operate at Intel stock, which states 95W, which matches with the C7's capabilities. If I turn MCE off (I'm unsure whether it will be auto or on by default, will find out later), is that sufficient to peg the CPU back to Intel stock...
