Enclosure ZS-A4S V3 - Sweet size for compact mid-spec air cooled build

How is the SATA drive compatibility when using the Black Ridge cooler? The product listing on Taobao mentions up to 4x SATA drive compatibility, but appears to be using a smaller cooler like an L9a instead. Thinking of this one as a good upgrade from the Loli1...better GPU compatibility while...

Did you have any difficulty sliding the full assembly into the A300 casing after installing the IS-47K?

    Formula Loli1 5.12L Build

This modified Enhance 7660b Flex PSU serves me well in the noise department, and is recommended by a lot of other users on the forum: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?_u=k207bupuf93d51&id=533119895425 Haven't had any noise complaints from the PSU fan...the noise from my R9 nano takes the cake...

    Formula Loli1 5.12L Build

I ordered the "white" Loli1 from Taobao through Superbuy back in June and received it a little over a month later. The color is more of a light aluminum gray, but is very satisfying to look at with or without RGB. Just checked the Taobao link I ordered from, and it looks like the listing was...

    Formula Loli1 5.12L Build

Thanks guys for the input/feedback! This case is pretty impressive for the price and what you're getting in the package. Other cases in similar size & form factor usually only accommodate one 2.5" drive, and may or may not have case fans...this one satisfies both needs without a big leap in case...

    Formula Loli1 5.12L Build

Did you order this case from Taobao, and was it the "official standard" option? Also, how many 2.5" drives can be installed? The Taobao listing says 3 2.5" drives, but have only seen pics where one drive is installed.

    Budget APU Build - Case?

You can use the included box cooler for the 3200G in the A300. The ring on the fan shroud (the part that has the "AMD" branding on it) can be removed, giving just enough clearance to fit into the A300. That way your friend can save on budget by not having to go with an aftermarket cooler. I...

Advice on thermals in Custom Mod FX 4.7L - case/GPU run hot

Thanks for the tips. Will try out the IO shield removal and the custom fan curve. I did notice after enabling Radeon Chill and targeting FPS around 60ish to match my monitor, the temps were more manageable at lower fan speeds, so a custom curve would likely help out more.

Where can I buy, power connectors?

Check out Mainframe Customs. They operate out of California, and appear to have the items you're looking for. I have them on my list for custom psu cable supplies when I eventually go that route.

[SFFTEC] Enhance ENP 7660B Pro (Limited Edition): Custom 600w Flex ATX PSU

I actually used it in a Custom Mod FX 4.7L, which is similar in size. I ordered the following lengths, though I could've gone a few cm shorter on each cable to fit better in the case and have a lot less slack. CPU 8pin and GPU 8pin for sure could've been much shorter in hindsight. I'll probably...

[SFFTEC] Enhance ENP 7660B Pro (Limited Edition): Custom 600w Flex ATX PSU

If you're ordering the unit from the Taobao seller linked above, the custom cables are wired directly to the power supply internals instead of using an external modular connector like the Geeek Flex ATX PSUs use. The tradeoff is the Taobao seller's PSUs are non-modular, but fit more easily...

What software to use for case design.

Agree w/ the opinion on tinkercad being limited. It really leaves much to be desired if you try to do more complex designs or just need more functionality. Will check out Sketchup and Fusion 360 based on your recommendation :)

What software to use for case design.

You can try tinkercad.com for a web CAD tool that's on the simple side. I've made some case & panel prototypes on there and then printed them at home afterward. The site offers output file formats that printing services can use.

    Hello SFF forum!

Hi all! I've been a long time lurker on the forums looking for advice and reading other users' experiences. In terms of SFF experience, I've done a few builds over the last couple of years, looking for the best balance of size to performance. Started out with a Thermaltake V1, which felt small...
