No they just sent a generic C14 cut to the same length that doesn't fit into the cutout. I didn't even try to squeeze it in as it was obviously not a correct fit. It did fix my intermittent freezing/shut down issues though (sounds like a few more and I'd have a fire on my hands :3)

Little confused why I received another C6 cord along with a new C14 for my A4 v3. The C14 doesn't fit the cutout and the C6 is still a fire hazard. Ended up just leaving the C14 hanging rather out from the back than using another C6 with all the safety issues associated.

What is the risk if they use a mediocre brand for their C6? I was going to buy two of these cases but the 110V + 5amp aspect is kinda throwing me off.
