I feel like you have just enough space for a laptop cooler to fit in the limited space you have next to the pump. Laptop heatsinks are meant to cool ~15w chips, which is around what the x570 chipset runs at IIRC. You would have to do some heatpipe bending and make a custom mount to make it...
Interesting question, but how is side panel rigidity? I have a cooler that's too tall for the case (Dark Rock TF), but I'm debating "Hot-Rodding" it and cutting a hole for the cooler to poke through. I'm assuming side panel rigidity would suffer severely, but would it make the frame not stable?
If I'm being brutally honest, I don't like the stand. I can't think of any designs that would fit better though. That's my only complaint. Everything else is awesome.
You have a source for that? I can't see any mention of that on the thread for the cooler. The fan that comes with it is a 15mm fan, if you replace it with an NF-A9x14 it's the same height.
I fail to see that as true, the results seem to be well within margin of error.
That being said, this isn't a thread about either of these coolers; I don't see why we are still arguing about it. If you have a problem with my syntax or my sources, take it up with me in PM's so we don't continue...
I was simply trying to provide the AXP-90 as an alternative to the is-47K and Black Ridge, I did not mean to insult you in any way. I shall try to refrain from making absolute statements in the future if it pleases you so.
However, In terms of BR vs AXP-90, the fact of the matter is that the...
The AXP-90 with a 120mm fan is probably comparable to the BR with a 120mm fan. The AXP-90 simply has far more thermal mass than the BR. Still, the standard AXP-90 will give comparable/better results to the standard BR without the motherboard or ram compatibility issues.
If I may play devils advocate, I have an alternate solution for you. I believe that the vents around the top are a decent size, however they do seem to be difficult to "get to." My first thought was to change the airflow pattern. Have you considered having a duct 3d printed for the c7g that...
Extremely sharp build Riba, looks awesome. I was also unaware that the B450-E had an open spot for a wifi card, that's pretty neat. Weird that the IO shield doesn't have cutouts for the antenna though.
