Prototype Project Orthrus - Smallest SLI mATX case (V2)

Oh I miswrote the word. What I wanted to say was a HB SLI bridge’s riser cable but not a PCIe one. Now only RTX3090 supports SLI.

Prototype Project Orthrus - Smallest SLI mATX case (V2)

Before OP make this case available, we need to find a HB riser cable for RTX 20xx suitable for this case.

Looking for a 4k blu-ray slot load slim drive for the ncase

I have 2 BDR-XS07B-UHDs. But I haven't pulled it apart because I haven't found any front panel suitable for it.

    9900k in Ncase M1

C14S doesn't have any slim fan mounter unless you hand-make a pair of it.

Cooling Cooling for 3900x in NCASE

NH-C14, NH-C14S and Dark Rock TF users should face up a problem that - not all the ITX motherboards support the right angle that makes heatsink fins verticalize to rear case fan. If the heatsink fins cannot be verticalized to rear case fan, then all the hot air cannot be exhausted actively.

Power Supply HDPlex 400W and Dell 330W Brick

Not only i7-9700K breaks HDPlex 400W + Dell 330W, but also i7-9700T breaks Abee DC-ATX board / Gigabyte IMB310TN (Thin-ITX M/B's DC input) + FSP 84W. On latter, when I change the brick from FSP 84W to FSP 150W, i7-9700T never auto-shutdown anymore. I also tested the continuous power consume on...

Power Supply HDPlex 400W and Dell 330W Brick

    What is OP's CPU? I own a HDPlex 400W 1.0 and a second-hand Dell 330W. I used to use it on: 1) E5-1620v4 + X99 2) i7-8700 + Z370 3) i7-9700K + Z390 The power shutted down on i7-9700K + Z390 + Prime95 Small FFTs. But it never had this problem on i7-8700 and E5 v4. I think it's a problem that...

    Enclosure Sunmilo S01

I got one from a second-hand market in China. I put a X299E-ITX, a Thermalright AXP-100 (58mm height version) and a HP OEM GTX1660Ti inside it. GTX1660Ti works perfectly (max. 69C). But CPU is too hot here. I think this case is only suitable for i5-9600K or less even you're using Thermalright...

Just replaced A4 v4’s ADT riser with a 3M riser

The 25cm version is just fit for the A4 v4. But I should fold both sides 180 degrees. After both sides got folded, there is no extra length. If I want to unplug the riser safely, I should unmount the VGA card -> remove the screw for the riser -> then unplug the riser's PCIe side. If my VGA card...

Just replaced A4 v4’s ADT riser with a 3M riser

The 3M riser is an official product, 8KC3-0726-0250, which costs $72. There are $60 Chinese handmade ones. They use genuine 3M cables but I doubt if their soldering quality is good enough. The A4v4-original ADT riser is far cheaper (which only costs $13) but it loses more FPS on my build. CPU...

    9900k in Ncase M1

I used to have a NCase M1 with 9700K and the same motherboard. If you use air cooling, 9700K - 9900K + Prime95 Small FFTs @ 99C is quite normal. Neither Noctua NH-C14/S / BeQuiet Dark Rock TF (the best top-flow air coolers for M1) nor Thermalright Silver Arrow 130 (the best side-flow air cooler...

NCase M1 + MAXIMUS XI Gene (3-slot MATX) seems to be OK

Motherboard's official site https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-XI-GENE/overview/ This motherboard has an 244mm (length) x 226mm (height) 3-slot MATX form factor. From this picture, I think it should be able to fit in NCase M1. But in order to install this motherboard, we need to...
