Just wanted to show some pictures of my modded InWin Chopin with Noctua NH-L12 Ghost S1 Edition cpu cooler. It's still work in progress - working on integrating a slimline Bluray drive.

That might be a problem, but togehter with a hot CPU I use it for Bœuf Stroganoff :cool:

Finally completed it. Now the top installation is clean.

It's not acrylic glass, it's Foamlite PVC. Nice to work with, but also much softer. https://www.plattenzuschnitt24.de/PVC-Platten/

Updated the case with a different top cover. At the moment it's a fully functional prototype - looks are not perfect yet. Helps the temperatures quite a lot - at max 50% fan power to keep it silent the idle temperatures are down 5 - 7 degrees, the maximum temps are down 3 - 5 degrees despite...

Is there any timeframe at what date the XS case will be available?

To me the sound of the side fans is totally normal, no unusual sounds. As mentioned here https://de.pcpartpicker.com/b/LZr6Mp it's possible to put in 15mm deep fans. The NoiseBlocker BlackSilentPro PC-P 30.6 CFM 80mm are better then the Akasa ones anyway.

Got myself a xCase ME some weeks ago. Completed the build some days ago - buildlog with pictures: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/b/LZr6Mp Some small things I did not mention there: 1) it is neccessary to plug the cables at the side to the case into the HD Plex power supply before screwing it in...

I would like the 215 x 205 x 72 but I do have another idea / wish: Make it stackable, with a second stack which can house a GPU card, horizontal, connected via rizer cable ... inspiration: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RiscPC And I would prefer a real quadrat, so 215 x 215 mm.

@Walderston: I've seen that, but this doesn't answer any of my 2 questions ...

I do have 2 questions: - what's the maximum supported height of 2.5" drivers in the ME case? 9.5mm, 12mm, 15mm? - will you sell the PCI-E extender in your shop in the near future?
