You could maybe look at getting a 3.5" to 5.25" adapter and drilling holes to line up with the existing fan mount locations. In theory this would fit the case with a little modification. There may also be some already available for the job. If you search ebay for "5.25" to 3.5" 2.5" SSD HDD...

I've currently got an old rig with a 2x1080p monitors, an FX-8350 and a GTX970, so anything will be a massive improvement. I'm planning a R7-2700X (possibly R7-3800X if I can pull together the cash) and torn between the 2070S and the 5700XT. I just honestly can't seem to justify the extra...

Is it worth the extra money for a 2070S over a 5700XT? I'm looking at a 'blower' style and there's a £100+ ($123+) difference on the price for very similar performance. The only obvious difference is the Ray Tracing.

I may be wrong, but I'm almost certain my case came with 2 shorter magnetic strips that fix to the top panel to hold the lid on. Are you sure you don't have any spares?

My case has those same hexagons on it, but mine are nowhere near as obvious (maybe because I've got the black version). The power button also rocks slightly, but not to the point it feels loose. Possibly a defective power button?

Something like a Dremel would probably be ideal for this. Cutting disk attachment to make the cut and a grinding stone attachment to tidy it up.

Hey Balder, I think you may have fixed the magnetic strips to the wrong side. The strips should be stuck to the covers and they will hold on to the case/frame magnetically. Hope this helps.

How difficult was it to build? Do you think a rigid tube loop would be possible? Also, are Bykski products good? I was a little put off by them because I've never used them. (Apologies for so many questions haha)

100% agree with you on the power LED. Far too bright, but white LED was definitely the best option. I may just colour in the bit that you see with a black pen to see if it dims it enough. If that doesn't work, I just wont connect it. Maybe look at how difficult it would be to shorten the...

Have you considered a Plastidip? It's less permanent, but also less to go wrong. you could easily cover all of the outer faces and still get a decent look. It's a popular option for motorbikes etc (My other hobby)
