Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

Any more news or media on the NanoQ? It's been a quiet few weeks of popping in here to see what's new 👀

These are great details! Thanks for testing and iterating @turboleak - hoping that the next version works well and I'm dying to find out how this bracket is intended to mount to the case 🤣

Maybe I'm not understanding - if there are four mounting points where the PSU connects to the bracket (via the four screw holes in the back of the PSU), how do the two bottom holes not provide any structural function? Would they not reduce the weight and torsion applied to the two top screw...

Please let us all know how it turns out! Really hoping to print my own to fit my Loki in the S

These brackets should fit SFX and SFX-L, but SFX-L will be really tight on the motherboard side with the short bracket (it looks like cables might cover the motherboard IO ports). @AlexTzone do you have any mockups/renders with SFX-L on the short bracket?

Thanks @AlexTzone! I don’t have a 3d printer, but I’m sure I can find a friend or service who does

Following up on this now that it's been a month or so. @AlexTzone please make this bracket available for the NanoQ S, even if it's an add-on part. The space savings are going to be crucial for SFX-L PSU users. I'm waiting to buy cables until I know for sure what the orientation of the PSU is...

Completed MJOLNIR: The minimalistic – but not boring – 9.7L Case

One of the reasons that I really like Alex and Thorzone. Responding to feedback and being agile with the design of this case builds trust and definitely makes me feel more confident in dropping the kind of cash this case costs.

Jay is an old-head watercooling and PC Build enthusiast. He's earned his stripes, but he's definitely not in super deep on the SFF scene like Optimum or some of the younger guys are. He for sure went in with less info than he should have and probably should have reached out to Alex and Baka to...

Really cool to see someone build in the NanoQ S with an SFX-L PSU. I was hoping he would use an AIO, but it was cool to see the basic fitment IRL

I would buy that CNCed bracket (assuming it was properly fitted for SFX-L)

Many right angle connectors for PSU‘s are roughly an inch (~25mm) thick (external). If somehow this connector is closer to a half inch, then you could ostensibly fit an extra 10 mm of fan depth.

In the NANOQ S with an SFX PSU, If the PSU is rotated 90 degrees (cables now facing mobo), the right angle plug would now be toward the front of the case, which means you probably wouldn’t get much in the way of space savings (for a fan for instance), if I’m not mistaken.

I (and I imagine most people) would definitely prefer the cables facing the motherboard. That makes the most sense and eliminates the need for longer cables.

I'm using an SFX-L PSU and I'm sincerely hoping I can use the rotated orientation shown on the NanoQ R (90 degree rotation - cables facing motherboard) to help alleviate the cable mess and use the shortest cables possible. You could probably get away with a really short GPU cable in that...
