Well the ones I’m looking at are 2 slot. I had a conversation with EVGA and they measured the 2070 I was looking at and one of the 1080 ti cards that are on the compatibility list and they were the same. I ordered the 2070. I’ll know soon if it fits for sure.

Upon further conversations with EVGA, they say the 1080 ti sc2 is the same width as the basic 2070’s so I’m gonna wing it and order. We’ll see what happens!

I thought of that, but we probably aren't going to see those CPU's readily available until November, at least that's my guess. They are suppose to be easier to cool because of the soldered heat spreader. What about of available CPU's in the market today?
