Is there a specific way i should route the riser cable, from the mobo side or from gpu side ?

Is there a specific way i should route the riser cable, from the mobo side or from gpu side ? Don't want to short anything. Also on the power button which wire is + and -, black or black/white or it doesn't matter how i connect it to mobo ?

Backplate removed? Wondering what kind of magic you did to fit it there because it shows the card thickness is 50.2mm but max that fits according to dan cases site is 45mm.

I am looking for a RTX 2080 Super card to fit this case. I thought i saw a post earlier where someone mentioned what fits and what not but could not find it again. Was looking at Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super Gaming OC but it's a tad too thick. Any help is appreciated !
