Basically better be safe than sorry. Very good article on this topic.

This is ridiculous. You've seen the temps with solid side panels (they haven't changed) and obviously must have been happy with them since you backed the kickstarter. Now you can see that better temps can be achieved with perforated ones and you're complaining... Of course there will be better...

Another delay on the update - I hope it's not because something bad happened out of the blue. Fingers crossed for second week of March. @WinterCharm - as we are getting closer to the shipment, is it possible to get any invoice or receipt?

Is there a significant difference between GTS 280 and LS 280 that you've decided to buy them even though you have LS?

Optimum Tech - "There is no single ITX case yet at least, that can take down the thermal performance of a high airflow mid tower." That's about to change quite soon. 😄

Imho custom length cables look way better than M2426.

You can put it in several places in whichever orientation works for you - you just screw two screws of the quadro to the spine holes.

    Log Dual 280GTS Meshy-boi (5900X, 3080 FE, 14.6L) build log

So in addition to the 60% and 34% I've tested it on 23% (2300rpm) and the slowest possible speed (10% = 1840rpm). In 10 min Cinebench R23 there's only 1℃ difference even between 10% and 60% so there's definetely not enough heat with only CPU stress test for this amount of cooling capacity. In...

I have a temporary build in mid tower with double 280 GTS and Barrow SPB17-TM pump (waiting for Winter One). There's almost no difference (0.5-1C) in cpu and gpu temps between pump at 34% (2700rpm) and 60% (3700rpm). I checked it playing CoD Warzone at 3840x1600 and running 10 min Cinebench R23...

Check Phanteks Glacier (flat res). With 280 at the bottom only PH-R160 fits, but with only 140 rad you even should be good with PH-R220.

I think serial number will always be there, only "First Edition" will be exclusive to the kickstarter + very first batches. However I agree this is ridiculous - what's the difference if you have case number 55 or case number 355? You have the very first edition (which is a bonus - wasn't even...

The motherboard in Winter One is upside down so there will be less space at the top not the bottom - with C8I you could only put there 25mm fans without a radiator if my calculations are not wrong.

2x EK torque rotary 90° vs 2x Barrow rotary 90° - only 5mm difference in height (31.5mm vs 26.5mm without thread) but this could actually make a difference since there is 57mm clearance for radiator + fans in the W1 spec. (HWL GTS 280 is 29.6mm high so with barrow fittings it adds up to 56.1mm)...

@WinterCharm said earlier that he will be sending the production (v12) unit to LTT because there is no point in reviewing the beta unit since the kickstarter has already ended. Edit: Found it.
