How can you determine if a given motherboard supports m.2 PCIe? For example, could I do eGPU over m.2 with this motherboard: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/H110T-CSM/specifications/

My goal is to build a thin-ITX system with an eGPU. TB3 would be the easy way to do this, but are there alternative connectivity options?

Alternately, is there any way to take an open m.2 slot and convert it to TB3?
