Hi all!
Who needs more than 11L of space, puh.
So I built myself a watercooled Node 202 to upgrade from my laptop. I looked at a lot of peepz on the internet on how to do it, and kept the best ideas from all of them. First I made the hole between the two compartiments for the cables just big...
So I recently made a thread about modding a pascal bios, which ended in kind of a minor: as most of you know, there is no way to do that atm.
I do want to have a higher power limit on my gtx 1080 mini, but I do not know the implications of flashing a bios with a different pcb layout. The ones I...
The more you bump your res up, the more gpu bottlenecked you become. You'd need two 1080 ti's in sli for 1440p 144hz and then you're still gpu bound I reckon.
And with amd and intel now pushing to more than 12 threads, there'll be more of an incentive for devs to develop for more threads...
I'd have to disagree, my 1700x does anything a 7700k does, and with maybe 5% lower frames, but with 15% higher 1% and 0.1% lows. Since I got my ram running at 3466 c14... Also I'm gaming on 1920*1080 75hz for now, but I'm in the market for a 1440p 144hz panel.
Gtx 1080 @1950mhz core 5485mhz...
Hello!
So, I have a Gigabyte 1080 itx, and it really is a hot card, literally and figuratively :). I'm looking to install an arctic accelero mono plus on it, to improve the temps, since it runs into a pretty spicy 74 degrees C on FE stock speeds. Yes, I can also undervolt, and I will try, if...
The first option I opted for does not harm your warranty in any way! Provided you put the plastic shroud back on, should you decide to send it in. Since you're building your own pc, you should be able to do this -- it is about as difficult as removing an air cooler from your cpu, you see, a gpu...
The tdp of a non oc 1080 ti is supposedly 250w. Since you will be needing a decent cpu to not bottleneck them, I'd say your cpu would end up somewhere around 100w tdp. That is non oc, aswell. You shan't oc, but you shall be fine. You coult increase both of the ti's powerlimit by about 10%...
Hey Bricek; I ordered mine from Belgium last Friday, and it is due this week. Live in the Netherlands too. From what I understand about stock coolers, you could mount an aftermarket fan on it with zipties. I will be using the Scythe Slip Stream 120 DB, 1900 rpm, and it costs around 10 euros...
I see a used 970 mini going for 190€ on a dutch tech variant of ebay. Dunno how it's used, but could ask. It sais that she/he lost the 8 pin power connector cable, but is complete besides that. He/she is open for good offers in price. You might be able to snatch it for ~170€ and shipping would...
