I think part of the inconsistency comes from whether the manufacturer includes the rear thickness due to a backplate. Can Console accept thicker card if the side panel is not used - or it might be blocked by some other elements of the case?

I would love to see this case being wider by 10mm, upping the CPU cooler limit to 112mm which then includes the humongous Noctua C14S and BQ Dark Rock TF. The 110mm mini dual tower D9L will be able to fit in as well.

Reading from previous posts, I gather that the real hard limit of the Console is 2.1 slot card. Does that mean there's only 2mm room beyond the PCIe slot? Is there any possibility to create bigger gap via standoff from the attachment of the side panel?

I know this might have been discussed already but is it possible to put a monitor on top of a Console in horizontal mode? Is the structure designed to withstand 5kg or weight?

I am pretty sure that you could turn the D9L 90 degree with AM4 socket. You'll need the other two brackets that come in the AM4 kit.

I think you will have issue with the thickness - it seems to be like a 2.5-slot card.

Is 60mm CPU height possible? That will include Zalman CNPS8900, which is one of the best performers at that height.

That timeline is good enough for me. It will give me enough time to save up. Is the case strictly 2-slot? My RX580 Nitro+ is 3mm over the 2-slot limit. Any plan to test some top-down cooler (e.g. 131mm Dark Rock TF)? I am worried that the PSU and CPU cooler will be fighting for air.
