Also, while my coolant remains clear (looking in the res and the blocks) my tubing has a slight yellow/green tint to it. I am using EKs coolant so I assume it's not stuff growing. But who knows? It's been almost a year and the system is performing very well.
I've got two tx240s in mine. To get the bottom one to fully fit I had to grind down clearance on the USB cable housing and place the fans under the rad. The side one fits with no issues.
I think the backplate is aluminum. I am a bit worried about it's interaction with the rads. My blocks are all plated and look clean. But can't see in the rads...
Very curious to see how these work in conjunction with a 240 rad. In my V5 I had to get the Dremel out and remove a lot of material from the front panel ports. In the end I got the XSPC slim rad to fit (with 15mm fans underneath).
One thing I do like about the V6 is the free flowing bottom...
That seems to be the case...
I just finished doing a dual-rad (2 x 240) update using the xspc slim rads and the iceman res. I had to trim a lot of plastic off the front port connectors. I was hoping any revision would take into account the dual-rad scenario.
