Cooling Quick hands on the Cryorig Cu C7

Nice work mate! Good cable works and that RGB ram sticks look amazing. Yes it is really painful to work with the A4 case. Due to the height limitation, I feel the cooling potential is reaching the limit. Maybe the Asetek 92mm AIO is already the ultimate solution for A4.

This ZS-A4 actually cost me 1700 CNY lol, I got this when I was in the UK. But I have to say the honeycomb design does look ugly indeed. I havent tested the rig without case fans, although I can imagine them keep the airflow going. As for the wallpaper, you can get more from the artist here if...

Cooling Quick hands on the Cryorig Cu C7

Probably :D. I'm not getting Dan A4, the reasons as you just mentioned, one of them is the 1mm clearance issue, and I always put filters on top.. it would be pretty noisy I imagine. Another thing is that Dan A4 lacks case fan mounts comparing to ZS-A4, adding 2 noctua fans at the bottom should...

Cooling Quick hands on the Cryorig Cu C7

So got another 8700K today, batch# L803, a pretty new batch. Tested on my ASUS Z370i, all BIOS settings on default except disabling MCE, I can get into OS and run CPU-Z with x50 all core at 1.25V, mediocre chip I would say, but still much better than my previous L730 chip, cant get into OS even...

CPU Low Profile CPU Cooler round up

Thank for all the works, I find the results were on par with my Cu vs Alu C7 tests. In your 4.3ghz 1.173v (120W) chart, with 100% fan speed, Cu C7 had 6 degrees lead. In my tests, I run my delid 8700k at 4.3 and 1.16v, with 100% fan speed, Cu C7 had avg. 8 and 9 degrees lead in two runs. One...

Cooling Quick hands on the Cryorig Cu C7

No worries as my tests were kinda messed up tbh, so far I haven't notice any significant temp improvements during my use of this PC (light-weight gaming for the most of time). I will have another 8700k tomorrow to try out, so I can do more tests about the C7, sadly I've sold my Alu C7 so no...

Cooling Quick hands on the Cryorig Cu C7

The LP53 results were on par with my past experience, had one few months ago and it (lp53+A9x14) performed slightly worse than my non-coated Alu C7+A9x14 combo

Cooling Quick hands on the Cryorig Cu C7

I did retest my Alu and Cu C7 yesterday in case you missed it Quick hands on the Cryorig Cu C7. The thing is now I'm running out of Kryonaut, if I do another test then I don't have enough paste to finish the test :( Also replacing the cooler requires alomost taking apart my whole case, too much...

Application looks ok to me. BTW I used spreader included in MX-4 package to evenly spread paste in all runs, but normally I just use pea method and it's working fine for me.

Just finished my testing, check my datasheet here: https://1drv.ms/x/s!AlY8Fq5UzlxmgeRtxBuTTDLRmmQdcw, a bit frustrating, but still deliver some useful info. May add some pics of testing as well :D

Kudos, and I'll redo all my testings with controlled factors, both coolers (coated alu c7 and coated cu c7, both using Noctua A9x14, manually set to max fan speed) will be tested later today in same ambient room temp, all other factors will be constant (voltage, speed, testing software, paste...

Haha - most likely that's true, this guy is known for coating coolers with graphene. You can check his works on other coolers here:http://tieba.baidu.com/p/5057558284?red_tag=w2863019388 and his charge is pretty reasonable, 50 CNY for small & single towered cooler and 100 CNY for twin-tower...
