You're explaining something to me when I already indicated I have the same board. I am aware of the nonstandard design, but it clearly can be worked around so long as the position of the mounting screws line up as other products do not have the problem since they do not require another backplate.

Focusing just on the USB 19/20 pin header, how hard is that? I really want to end up with this, but with the NCase female ends to still fit the I/O panel, as well as have it be trimmed to the appropriate length to avoid cable clutter.

Super interested in this as I am currently dealing with an apogee drive ii which killed itself. Running a dual 240 rad + gpu and res set up if that matters to what builds you are looking to test this in. If you want input on what kind of pumps to design around, DDC is really the only way to go...
