I am experiencing the same dropouts on an Asrock x470 gaming itx in Windows using a 2400g. Only when I am in the gui. If I am playing a movie or show it does not happen. Does not happen in Libreelec so far in limited testing.

That blows, I usually use Libreelec. At least the board I bought was only 55 bucks open box with a $15 rebate so won't be such a big deal if I have to get a new board soon.

Purchased th e 2400g and an Asus b350m-e and get 4k 60 no problem but someone from Reddit asked me to run cyberlink advisor and it is showing hdcp 2.2 not available

In the asrock forum tonight they said you should be able to use instant flash to update bios but might need a graphics card. Better than having to have a 1st gen ryzen.

I called my local microcenter and none of the boards they have are updated yet and they quoted $30 to update the Bios. (I am in Denver) Will have to do some digging to find out, would be great if instant flash works without a cpu.

Does anyone know if the asrock instant flash will work without the cpu in to update bios
