I'd recommend the same. As for the 600 Watts. Honestly you will never be able to use more then 400 Watts without running into thermal Issues first, since the maximum GPU-Size you can fit currently is a 220Watt RTX 3070, if you make a specific cooler mod. As for the CPU...try running a >150 Watts...
My GPU i have installed is NOT flush with the back, there is a 1-2 mm gap. It comes down to the PCI-E Riser position.
And the 222.1mm of the Zotac is measured without the slotbracket, i think.
The Fan-Shroud is plastic. And according to Zotac the backplate is made from metal..maybe trying to...
I have some Patriot Viper Steel (about 44,4mm) in the D4+ V1. They do press against the sidepanel, even if it is just a little bit...The sidepanel still closes, but also rests against the RAM.
Sooo I'd say 44mm MIGHT fit, but is also a bit too high.
I use the Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX Board...
@AMv8-1day
Well I looked a bit on techpowerup and found this:
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-dual-rtx-3070-si.b9530
A 3070 with really short PCB, but big cooler...229mm long...9mm too much for the D4+. Those 9mm are shroud and maybe a few fins only.
And this try on reddit...
I know that the EVGA XC Gaming and the Asus Dual Mini 3060Tis fit. (I have the latter)
A Zotac Twin Edge might be just a few mm too long. You could literally shave it down, since its only the Backplate and Fanshroud. If the Size of the V2 is the same as my V1 D4+
Cards from other AIBs including...
It depends if you want the Densium 4 or 4+. I took the 4+ since its easier to find GPUs and it has easy room for a Sata SSD and cables.
And who knows what size future cards will be...
My build is a 3700X and a 3060TI which are sub 300W togather. (I looked for a B550 ITX board on ebay germany and...
Just want to add something, when building a PC with a Riser, since i made that stupid mistake.
If you use a PCI-E 3.0 Riser, but a PCI-E 4.0 Board and GPU, you won't get a video output. You need to manually change the PCI-E Gen in the Bios to 3.0 beforehand, by slotting the GPU into the Board...
Just preordered the D4 plus V2. Have to sell my D4plus V1 locally, when i get it XD.
Oh btw you forgot to put in the size of your Leather Desk Mat in the Shop.
I have the Asus Dual Mini 3060Ti (bought it used for 400€), which is has the same dimensions (same cooler) as the Asus 3060 you posted. It fits good in the D4+ V1. The EVGA XC Gaming should fit as well. Actually those 2 Cards are the only 3060Ti that fit the D4+...There is the MSI Aero ITX, but...
Ryzen is a bit...complicated and dumb.
Fist of all the standard PPT is TDPx1,35. For the 5600 that would be around 88W. And the Temp Limit is usually 100°C.
The Problem with PPT is that Ryzen uses a high Singlecore Boost that makes the CPU very hot. For my 5950X it is 5,05Ghz@1.5V. That high...
Asus TUF 1660Super, was able to get one used for cheap. The fan shroud was 1-1,5mm too thick, but by removing the thick plastic backplate, i was able to bend the GPU inwards a little bit. Yes the sidepanel is touching the GPU fan shroud, but it doesn't block the Fans.
As for the Mainboard. The...
So i recieved my PSU today, the Case (D4+V1) came Monday this week.
The Case has a few imperfections from the powder coating, but nothing major and a side panel was bent from the shipping. But i was able to straighten it.
In order to fit my Parts in, i had to remove the backplate from my...
Sadly the MSI 3060Ti Aero ITX seems to be disappeared completely in Germany. Although one could buy a 3070 and the Palit/Gainward GPU cooler and build a small 3070, which fits in the D4.
I ordered mine on the 29.5 and it shipped 4 days later (and is currently waiting for a Plane). The Custom...
You cant go thinner without really either use a HDPLEX or external PSU. And if you go external PSU, you have already enough cheap ones...
There is just not enough margin to justify such a case.
And a HDPLEX is really expensive for an APU PC... Its 3x times as much as a SFX or FLEX-ATX PSU with...
The Dan A4 is build especially for a 240mm AIO. Or 55mm CPU air cooler. For GPUs its 3 Slots or 322mm.
The Size is about 11Liter or 140 mm x 244 mm x 326 mm HxWxL. Cost in my country is 160€.
The NR200P can fit a 4-Slot GPU with 330mm length. AND it doesn't need a riser. The 3090FE fits nicely...
