I just found out about what really happened that led to the discontinuing of the NCase and, well, a bit angry and a bit saddened about it. I look forward to seeing the Ncase/Formd collaboration and hope it can satisfy the future GPU sizes when it launches.
I don't think that should be a problem then, as I'm running a 9900 KF and plan on doing some undervolting on the 3080.
What I'm now curious if I need to get one of the Moddiy connectors (https://www.moddiy.com/products/GPU-VGA-8Pin-6Pin-PCIE-U-Turn-180-Degree-Angle-Connector-Adapter-Board.html)...
I have a corsair SF600 platinum psu, but I notice several people here have the SF750 with their 3080. Is it necessary to have a 750 watt psu or is a platinum 600 watt PSU enough?
With GPUs increasing in size and the GPU options growing less, are there any thoughts or discussions on reevaluating the size of the M1 for future iterations? I'm looking at my V5 and the list of hoops I have to jump through for some cards seems very troubling.
From the early specifications of the new C-style cooler, the height is 110mm which is 5mm taller than the original c14. The Ncase has a clearance of 130mm, but the 140mm fans are 25mm in height. The total height of the new cooler would be 135mm.
