    [Close] Ceberus hard drive mounting

Hi, the Cerberus can be ordered with 3 2x3.5" hard drive brackets. Where do they mount and how much space is left for other components? Do they mount at the bottom side by side? With the hard drive brackets installed and populated is there room for a 2.5 slot graphics card? And would that work...

GPU Reference 6800XT - ITX Case compatibility

The AMD 6800 consumes around 220W in games, with undervolting you can get it below 200W. You can't shrink it, though. AMD won't abandon the high volume 300$ market, but it makes sense to bring out expensive high margin products first. And those have been out for all of two days. Zotac has a 3070...

    Part 600W PSU & PCIe 3.0 x8 for RTX 3080 Bottleneck(?)

THe PSU might workr, but according to IgorsLab Test of several Nvidia cards and PSUs a 600 W PSU could be overloaded with a 3080 because the card has power spikes longer than 20 ms which could trigger overload protection. All this might be fixed with new drivers. Article in Googlenglish If you...

GPU High resolution VEGA video board for ITX build

The Dell UP3218K connects with two Displayport cables for 4320P@60Hz. So the Radeon PRO WX4100 should be able to drive it. However it is an older card and I remember there were issues when the first 5K Dsiplays came out, and I don't expect 8k to work without a hitch in the first generation. Why...

    Sata... Switch?

SuperMicro has (or I should say had) a 2.5" hot-swap storage kit, that has 2 SAS SFF-8484 ports. These can be use to connect cascading or in a mulitpath configuration as a failsafe. Maybe it could be used in your scenario? I have no idea, but a SAS backplane or SAS expander *might* be able to do...

Slim case mini-ITX, 4.6GHz 7700K, low noise emissions: possible?

I have a 6700K delidded and cooled by a Rajintek Pallas with a Noctua 140mm fan. While the noise level is very quiet under normal load or gaming it can still get loud when stressed. How much stress does the software put on the CPU and how quiet does it have to be? A Scythe Ninja 5 or similar...
