    SKYREACH 4 MINI (S4M)

I just picked up an 8.9" 2560x1440 TFT display off AliExpress that I'm going to attach to the side of the case. Would be an interesting diagnostics or random info panel or even a tiny screen for traveling without a monitor. I'm going to fire up meshmixer this week and make the model to 3d print...

    SKYREACH 4 MINI (S4M)

Yeah I sort of downscaled my planned build because I didn't want to deal with the power threshold and temps. The 330w Dell brick is the limiter and I didn't want to splash out on the eurocom model. If I could get it brickless AND get 400w all day, that's the dream hence the interest in the 400w...

    SKYREACH 4 MINI (S4M)

Whoa, now I sort of wish I held out for the 400w AC-DC and figured out how to jam that into my case to support an 8700K + 1080TI instead of 8700 + 1080. That extra horsepower for games would nearly match my full size ATX box.

    SKYREACH 4 MINI (S4M)

Man, choosing the S4M with the cheapest air shipping option to the US- I thought it would be the last part I got for my build. As it turns out, the HDPlex 400 is still held up while they revert to the old heatsink design. I'm using a borrowed 500w ATX PSU and temp silverstone mini ITX case...

External brick or internal brick for 8700K + 1080ti build?

There's an upcoming 400w AC-DC HDPlex option that will work well with the current 400w DC-ATX, but I am still a bit confused how it's supposed to fit into the S4M as it looks huge. The 1080Ti + 8700k is just about the most power hungry build type you could go with, I'd be equally concerned on...

Power Supply Could I use an EVGA SC17 AC adapter with an HD Plex?

Late to this thread, but I can confirm it will work in the reverse order. I've got the 300w EVGA adapter and it's 19.5v @15.4A. It's half the weight, half the thickness and a bit shorter than the Dell model. Coincidentally I picked up the Dell brick to power my HDPlex 400w for my new SFF build...

    SKYREACH 4 MINI (S4M)

Just found out about this case last week and have been talking to Josh about it. Finding out whether parts are size compatible is the toughest part. For example, the most affordable 16GBx2 DDR4 3200 kit is Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM for $299 on Amazon, but Corsair chooses specifically not to...
