Well, I wouldn't say it's ridiculous, it's been asked multiple times and the answer was that the difference wasn't that much, but 16º and 9º is a lot, it's not like it is 4-5º. But it's fine by me, perforated panels should be an option in the future, meanwhile I'll cry in a corner with my...

The NA-SFMA1 is if you want to convert the 120 fans to 140, if this is not the case then you don't need the adapter at all.

I got them and I measured, it probably adds like 2mm (if that much to the total fan height), I think it should be fine!

The biggest difference would be regarding noise. The NF-A12x25 is pretty much inaudible at 900-1000 RPM with great performance. The slim fans will be much louder. If you care about noise then the NF-A12x25 is the better choice.

I've bought it some months ago, before that was an issue people were talking over here, I'll just wait for the winter one to be on my hands before I buy anything else, I've wanted a few months for it, so I can wait a bit longer to order the pieces left for my build, no worries ;) I've never...

If I don't manage to fit it standalone, I'll use the aquanaut block with it.
